On her advice, we started both excursions at 6:30 a.m., which helped to avoid wild queues and crowds on the street, as well as the sweltering heat at the end of July. She also did not follow the standard route of two-person guides - she always chose the most optimal route and interesting historical sites. As a result, in 10-12 hours in two days we looked at almost all the main sites of Rome, learned a lot of interesting details from its history and freed up time to travel to other cities in Italy.
