Hello! I’m Iryna Kravchenko, a licensed Rome and Vatican City Guide, an art historian with a diploma from Roma3 University, a professional journalist and a ballroom dancing champion.

ABOUT ME
I have 2 degrees: sociologist (ONU, Odesa) and art historian (Roma3, Rome). I am fluent in Italian, English, Ukrainian and Russian.
I have been living in Rome for 12 years. Once I came here, I fell in love with the Eternal City! I was returning here dozens of times, I was obsessed with this city! I couldn’t live without it anymore, and... I decided to do the craziest and happiest thing in my life, to move here. First I was alone in this foreign city, there was only a suitcase, bare enthusiasm and great love for this place! Many people called me crazy in that period!
Because I was going to work as a tour guide and share my love to this incredible place with others, I decided to get a basic local education first!

After all, no matter how many hundreds of books you read yourself, it’s never enough to be able to immerse others in the Roman universe as deeply as possible!
Well, what could be better than first getting information from the original source?
During seven years of study, we were taught by the best experts of Rome! Our professors conduct excavations, travel all over the world, assess the authenticity of masterpieces! It was an honor to learn from them!
The result is the Italian diplomas, both with the highest score, and an eternal desire to get to know Some more and more!
I constantly improve myself, every year I attend dozens of professional courses and excursions for guides. And...
The more I study Rome, the more I realize that there is still a whole block ahead of me, and a dozen lifetimes will not be enough to learn everything about this beautiful, amazing and many-sided city!
MY MISSION:
To make you fall in love with Rome, to teach you to understand historical periods and art styles! My eternal friendliness, sense of humor and curiosity will not let you get bored even for a minute!
After our excursions you will easily distinguish Raphael from Michelangelo, and the Renaissance from the Baroque! You will begin to scrutinize every painting and sculpture in a search of the master’s secret code!
And, of course, any discussion during our walks is fun and easy, with Odesa humor and interesting presentation! And now the stones of Rome will start talking to you literally at every step!
